About the project

Based on a fantastic, surrealist, dystopian novel The other side, written by Alfred Kubin in the autumn of 1908, which explores the collapse of a dream world.
The anonymous narrator is a cartoonist who receives an invitation from his wealthy childhood friend Claus Patera to travel to Perla, the capital of the Kingdom of Dreams, a utopian and isolated society, which Patera has built in the Far East as a refuge from modern civilisation.
